Jefferson Lab requires ALL WORKSHOP PARTICIPANTS to complete an Electronic Access Registration form at least seven days before the start of the workshop, October 16, 2022.
JLab Electronic Access Registration Systems (EARS)

All workshop attendees are required to complete JLab’s Electronic Access Registration process at the following link at least seven days before the start date of the workshop (10/16/2022): https://misportal.jlab.org/jlabAccess/.

Choose “Visitor” as your JLab type.

Complete your profile.

Click on “Request a New Visit.”

Complete and submit the registration form.

Once, you submit the completed registration form, you will see a “checklist”.

Complete and submit all required forms and document uploads in the checklist in order for your registration request to be processed.

You will receive an email once all is complete, approved and uploaded to our system.

Visiting JLab Exclusive of the October 19 ARW 2022 Tour.

As part of ARW 2022 you will be authorized to visit JLab for the site tour currently scheduled for October 19. Your tour authorization does NOT extend to any other JLab visit you may have planned either before, during or after the workshop.

If you intend to leverage your trip to Newport News to meet with colleagues at JLab you must obtain additional authorization. Discuss your upcoming visit with your JLab sponsor. They will walk you through any additional requirements for your non-workshop JLab visit.

Please note, there are time sensitive deadlines for requesting access to JLab. Visitors are required to submit requests at least 7 days before the onsite arrival start date.

Your safety is important. Please follow these dress guidelines during the tour:

Wear long pants or slacks - Shorts, Capri pants, skirts, and dresses are not permitted.

Wear short or long-sleeved shirts - Sleeveless shirts or tank tops are not permitted.

Wear flat or low-heeled, closed-toe shoes - Sandals, open-toe or high heel shoes are not permitted. It is advisable to wear comfortable walking shoes as tours at JLab do involve quite a bit of walking and going up and down stairs.
