Description

Willy Haeberli left us a rich 50-year nuclear polarization physics legacy. He trained generations of students, post-docs, and international collaborators in the intracacies of nuclear spin physics measurements. This talk will reflect on my time spent working in Willy’s large University of Wisconsin research group in the 1960s. His insight guided our development of polarized ion sources and experimental polarization techniques ... early seeds in his long, productive career of research accomplishments.
