The excursion will take place on Wednesday afternoon.
We will take buses to Duke Campus where participants will have a choice of a guided TUNL tour or a tour of Duke Chapel with an organ demonstration. The participation for the TUNL tour is limited and signup will be required. Details will be provided on the first day.
Afterwards we will walk to Duke Gardens, where participants will have about 2hrs to explore by themselves. Alternatively they can spend time visiting the Duke Campus. (map can be found here)
Around 6:30 we will go to the Nasher Museum where the conference dinner will be. Participants will be free to browse the exhibition and there are guides available.
The total distance from bus dropoff to the Nasher museum through Duke Gardens is about 1 mile. If you have trouble walking, we'll arrange transportation to the Nasher. Please let us know beforehand.
