Description
JLEIC, a high luminosity polarized electron-ion collider based on the CEBAF recirculating SRF linac, has been proposed at Jefferson Lab as its future nuclear science program beyond 12 GeV CEBAF fixed target program. The design studies and accelerator R&D of JLEIC have been actively pursued over the last ten years by Jefferson Lab staff and external collaborators. This spring JLEIC collaboration meetings focus on several selected topics of JLEIC design studies and R&D: 1. Bunched beam electron cooling and ERL cooler 2. Detector interface and interaction region 3. Update on a few selected design and R&D issues (electron beam emittance, ion SRF linac and super-ferric magnet) 4. Plan for the JLEIC Pre-CDR
