We suggest the following lodging options:

1. We have secured a block of rooms at the Kendall Best Western.  Room rates are 129/139USD per night wo tax.  Includes breakfast, wifi, guest parking, fitness and pool access.

   Early rate is available until Feb 6th or until availability runs out.  It is therefore encouraged to make the reservation as soon as you can if interested.  One night deposit is charged at the time of reservation.

2. A block is available at Palms Inn & Suites, nearby the Kendall Best Western mentioned above.  Room rate is $159 USD per night wo tax.  Includes breakfast, wifi, parking.
   
   Rate is available until Feb 6 or when availability runs out.

3. A block is available at Comfort Suites Kendall, this is somewhat closer to campus.  Room rate is $149 USD per night wo tax (group rate also available ±3 days around the meeting).  Includes breakfast, wifi, parking.
   
   Rate is available until Feb 6 or when availability runs out.

   This hotel is closer to campus but still about a 45 minute walk (half of which through a park) to the meeting location for those who prefer the exercise.  To be clear, shuttle transportation will also be available from this location.

People willing or looking to share accommodation can contact the organizers and we can try to match requests and offers.

Complimentary shuttle transportation between these hotels and the FIU campus will be organized in the morning and evening.

Participants are also free to book their own acommodation of choice, but should keep in mind that there are no decent public transportation options between most of the Miami area and the FIU campus.
