Note that of the days of the meeting Thursday Feb 27 and Friday Feb 28 of this room block have sold out as of writing (Jan 13). If you get the "The group rate plan you requested is not available for your specified dates" message and do not need lodging the whole week don't forget to change the dates to your preference. This hotel is closer to campus but still about a 45 minute walk (half of which through a park) to the meeting location for those who prefer the exercise. To be clear, shuttle transportation will also be available from this location.

Complimentary shuttle transportation between these hotels and the FIU campus will be organized in the morning and evening.
Participants are also free to book their own acommodation of choice, but should keep in mind that there are no decent public transportation options between most of the Miami area and the FIU campus.
