Description

The Heavy Photon Search (HPS) collaboration will hold its semi-annual meeting at Jefferson Lab from June 3 to June 5, 2025. The collaboration has made significant progress in calibrating and aligning the 2021 data set and is preparing to process 10% of it to commence physics analyses. Progress has also been made in aligning the 2019 data set, which will be ready shortly. In addition to calibrating the physics run data sets, the search for SIMPs using the 2016 data has been completed and approved for publication. We are preparing for the next run and pursuing various physics analyses. At this meeting, we will receive updates from different working groups. We anticipate presentations on the progress of searches for canonical dark photons and other long-lived particles. The business session of the meeting will include updates from the Presentation and Publication Committees and the Executive Committee.
