HPS Collaboration meeting

US/Eastern
Description

The Heavy Photon Search Experiment (HPS) at Jefferson Lab has just successfully completed its 2.5-month-long second physics run. During this 3-day remote collaboration meeting, we will discuss the performance of the detector, the status of the analysis review and publication of the results from the 2016 engineering run, and the status of calibration and alignment of the 2019 and this, 2021 run data. As in every meeting, we will hear updates from Hall-B. We’ll also hear about new ideas for light dark matter/dark photon searches and possible new physics targets. The business session of the meeting includes updates from PPC, EC, and the results of the election for two new members of EC.
