Rates are: 1-4 nights: 95 Euro per night; 5+ nights: 87 Euro per night; extra person: 19.5 Euro per night; includes breakfast; does not include tourist tax (3 Euro per night). Basic wi-fi is complimentary.
Reservations should be made by contacting the hotel by e-mail to info@castelnou.be and including the event code "lightionEIC". A credit card will be required to guarantee the reservation. -
There are numerous other pleasant hotels in the center of Ghent that should have availability too.

The following two hotels are located within walking distance (~10 min) from the department building. Be advised, however, that the surrounding area is quite industrial and the hotels lie near the highway. Dinner options are limited in the area and public transport to and from the center becomes a bit infrequent in the late evening. The local organisers advise participants who want to enjoy the city of Ghent to book accommodation in the center.
