Information for Speakers

Please note that there are two kinds of contributions in the program: 45 min slots correspond to 30 min presentation and 10 min discussion, 30 min slots to (20 + 10) min.

Please upload a PDF file of your talk to Indico at least one hour prior to the beginning of your session.  If you're unable to upload your talk to Indico, please send a PDF to the organizers at athos2024@jlab.org who will upload it for you.

A conference laptop will be available for you to upload your talk using a flash drive or by e-mailing it to the organizers.  You're also welcome to use your own laptop to display your talk on the conference meeting room's projector which has an HDMI connection.  We will have the standard USB-C and Mac connectors available for HDMI.   

Social Events

Opening Reception:  Tuesday, May 28  5-7 pm

A reception will be held in the courtyard of the conference venue, Miller Hall, at the end of Tuesday's session.  Hors d'oeuvres, beer, wine, and soft drinks will be provided as part of the conference registration fee.

Conference Dinner:  Thursday, May 30 6-8 pm

The conference dinner will held at Shields Tavern located at 422 E Duke of Gloucester St, Williamsburg, VA with tickets included in the conference registration fee.

Wifi Connection

On campus you can connect your personal devices to the Wifi by selecting the “W&M Wireless” option. Then open a browser and you should be automatically directed to connect.wm.edu where you select that you are a conference attendee/guest. Change the radio button to indicate that you have a sponsor to get multi-day access and type wmconf@wm.edu

Parking

Parking on campus is free to those who are registered particpants.  You may either print the parking pass from this link to bring with you or receive a printed parking pass at the conference registration table when arriving on campus. Please use the area marked Day Student Parking in the Parking Garage located at 201 Ukrop Way, Williamsburg, VA and leave the parking pass on the dash of your car where it can be clearly seen.
