Visa Information

You are responsible for ensuring you have the necessary visa—if required—to enter the United States.

• You must enter with a Business Visa (B1 or VWB).

• Tourist visas (B2 / VWT) are not permitted for conference attendance or   reimbursement.

• Visa Waiver travelers: request VWB business classification at U.S. entry.

2. Review and Apply for Business Visa Types at Business

3. Check Entry Process (CBP) For International Visitors | U.S. Customs and Border Protection

Visa Application Letter

If you require a letter for your visa application, please indicate this during registration and then send an email to TTC2027@jlab.org with the following information:

·       Full name (as on passport)

·       Organization/Affiliation and Mailing Address

·       Working Group number & title

·       Title of your presentation/abstract/poster (if applicable)

·       Email address

·       Phone number

·       Passport number

·       Passport Issue Date

·       Passport Expiration Date

·       City and Country of Embassy

If you require an invitation letter, please indicate this during registration and then send an email to TTC2027@jlab.org  with the following information:

If Multiple Travelers from the Same Institution

• Consolidate invitation‑letter requests into one submission.
• Some visa offices require physical (not electronic) letters.
