This workshop will discuss both hadronic and electroweak physics topics that are directly relevant to analyzing and interpreting the data collected by the MOLLER experiment, which plans to make the world’s most precise low energy measurement of the weak mixing angle to be extracted from the parity-violating left-right asymmetry of longitudinally polarized electrons scattering off electrons in a liquid hydrogen target. Not only is a robust prediction of the weak charge of the electron required at the two-loop level, but also careful understanding of inelastic electron-proton scattering and hadron production from electro- and photo-production in the liquid hydrogen target is needed. The workshop will address the aforementioned topics and foster discussion about ways to improve the interpretation of MOLLER physics results.
