DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Rong-Li Geng (Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator
Facility)\n\nWe are pleased to announce the SRF Frontiers Workshop\, takin
g place November 12–14\, 2025\, at Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator
Facility in Newport News\, VA.\nThe workshop is by invitation only and wi
ll focus on the latest advancements in Superconducting Radio Frequency (SR
 F) sciences and technologies. The outcome of this workshop is expected to
impact SRF-based accelerators at Jefferson Lab and elsewhere for sustained
SRF scientific progresses and expanded SRF technology applications. It wi
ll highlight current systems such as CEBAF and UITF at Jefferson Lab\, whi
le also exploring next-generation SRF innovations. The workshop also aims
to:\n\nStrengthen collaboration among experts and institutions in areas of
shared interest.\nFoster partnerships with funding agencies and industry
where strategic interests align.\nProvide a forum for discussing new ideas
\, addressing challenges\, and shaping directions.\n\nParticipants will in
clude leaders in SRF science and technology\, industrial partners\, and re
presentatives from the government funding agencies. The focus areas of the
workshop are:\n·    Future SRF scenarios at Jefferson Lab\, including
promising approaches to enhancing CEBAF’s energy efficiency and discover
y potential\, particularly in the context of the 2023 Nuclear Science Advi
sory Committee (NSAC) Long Range Plan for Nuclear Science. \n·     SRF
for future scientific facilities\, including the SRF needs for the Electr
on-Ion Collider (EIC) and SRF developments for the proposed Higgs Factory
in the framework of the U.S. Higgs Factory Coordination Consortium (HFCC).
\n·     SRF beyond basic research for nuclear and particle physics\,
including approaches to accelerator driven systems for transmutation of nu
clear waste\, compact SRF technologies for industry\, and SRF-based new to
ols for material sciences and biomedical applications. \nRound table sessi
ons will be held to facilitate the formation of consortiums focused on two
key areas: advancing fundamental research in Nb₃Sn SRF technology and s
caling this technology for commercial applications. These discussions will
leverage deep subject-matter expertise and test facilities at Jefferson L
ab. The program will include a guided tour of Jefferson Lab's SRF faciliti
es and the UITF accelerator. In addition\, early career sessions will be o
rganized to support the next generation of SRF practitioners. Thanks to th
e generous sponsorship of Jefferson Lab’s Chief Research Officer\, the r
egistration fee will be waived for selected early career participants. \n
