DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Alexandre Camsonne (Jefferson Laboratory)\, Charlott
e Van Hulse (University of the Basque Country UPV/EHU)\, Marie BOER (Virgi
nia Tech)\, simonetta liuti (university of virginia)\n\nOverview\nThe fift
h edition of the “Towards Improved Hadron Femtography” workshop will b
e held at the University of Virginia\, in Wilson Hall on Central Grounds\,
  on July 20–24\, 2026.\nPhysics Department\, UVA\, 3rd floor\, Room 338\
nThe workshop continues its efforts to achieve tomography of hadrons – i
maging the three-dimensional internal structure of protons\, neutrons and
atomic nuclei at the femtometer scale – through hard exclusive processes
. This workshop brings together a diverse mix of theorists and experimenta
lists to foster collaboration\, covering topics from GPD phenomenology and
lattice QCD calculations to new experimental results aimed at advancing o
 ur understanding of the nucleon’s 3D structure. In a broader context\, t
he workshops goals align with the vision of Jefferson Lab and the upcoming
Electron-Ion Collider (EIC). Hadron femtography is a cornerstone of the E
IC’s science program\, and this edition emphasizes computational physics
-AI methods synergy\, as well as the role of light nuclei in planning for
EIC-era analyses to fully leverage the collider’s unprecedented capabili
ties.\nWe wish to invite the nuclear and particle physics\, and the comput
ational physics communities to participate in our workshop to explore expe
riment ideas for EIC enabled science. \nThe scientific program will consi
st of invited oral presentations as well as round table discussion session
 s. The workshop will aim at improving interactions among various existing
collaborations and to foster the creation of new ones.\nFor questions and
updates\, please join either the Slack or WhatsApp channel after registeri
